elementary art teacher to her camps. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she holds endorsements in both language arts and fine art. Teaching is her passion and it shows as she engages children through storytelling, critical thinking exercises and dramatic play.
Eileen enjoys working with her family: her sons Christopher and Daniel help administer the camps. Daniel is an award winning poet, and a former member of the Ann Arbor Youth Poetry Slam Team. He is a published writer, and regularly performs with Ann Arbor Wordworks, a local collegiate poetry troupe.
Chris is an avid chess player, whose passion for the game began at the tender age of eight. He was taught the game by his grandfather who is a certified chess master in Japan. He constantly seeks opponents of greater skill than his own and passes this love of strategy and competition on to his students.
